    Hello,

I am just visiting here, would someone have the MSRP or price sticker from a 1983 400i by any chance?
Over in the Mondial section started a tread trying to bring together the 83 line-up with prices,

    cheers

Correct...only the 308 and Mondial until another year or two when the Testarosssa came out. The 400i and 512BBi were both grey market.

I do have this though--which is the dealer "sticker" for an 82 400iA s/n: 40065. I'd love to reunite the car with this sticker and its maintenance book--both of which I have in my possession.

If you put that into an inflation calculator it come out to 167K, quite a bit less than current Ferrari models.

    Excellent,

@bjwhite - puts the 400i into relation, thanks a lot

so from low to high very likely

    308 (QV yet?)
    Mondial (coupe and convertible)
    400i
and then probably the 512 BBi

    cheers

Very interesting. I have 40067 in my database, but not 40065. Close, but no cigar! :(

As of February this year, I am the proud owner of 1982 Ferrari 400i #40065 Rosso Corsa, and I just by chance glanced this forum post! I found this particular model very intriguing for a variety of reasons. Any information concerning the background of my car would be much appreciated, and I would love to be reunited with any original materials that came with the car. I am the third owner, and it has quite an interesting backstory that I will share later.

I am a first-time Ferrari owner, and I was waiting until the car was absolutely perfect to post photos and formally introduce myself to the legendary 400i community. From what I have seen on the forums, it sounds like 'bundas' is the LeBron James, or Steph Curry for Dub Nation, of the 400i community.

I'm currently getting some finishing mechanical touches done on the car, so I cannot post photos yet. But when I do, you will see the exterior is about as close as showroom as you can get, and the interior is about an 8.5 out of 10.

That's comical. Make up a price then knock $10k off.
Precisely the reason Monroney labels where mandated.
