    Looks like the engine from a 365 GT4 2+2 based on the number stampings. In case the rest of the car still exists, checking my database, I can state that the subsequent engine number 735 belongs to serial number 17369 so the serial number for the car that the engine for sale relates to must be close.

    So is it disassembled? If so why, is it being rebuild and has had all of the machine work done or has the rebuild process just getting started. I would think if it was "good to go" it would be worth more if it was assembled but for some reason it is in pieces.

    It was restored some 15-20 years ago.Its complete.He bought it from a Ferrari importer that has passed away.If you are interested send me a email.
