It doesn't actually say how many, though you presume there are at least 4...if that is the case, and including hubs and spinners....that is a stonking deal that would have me reaching for my chequebook without thinking twice......if I lived in the 'states!

I don't reckon they suit the GT4,though they look great on a C4 with colourcoded bumpers.

I like Boranni wheels a lot too and they look cool on many cars but the design of this series included a totally new alloy wheel which is undeniably unique and beautiful. To retro put unspecified Borannis on a 400 is sacrilege really, disrespectful to the brilliance of such a beautiful design.
My Dad has a Morgan with Borannis it looks great by the way!
    Cheers

you are the only person in the world to be allowed your Borannis. All others should apply to me!!!!!! Because........ I will explain why its daft to put Borannis on a 400.
    cheers

I totally agree with your sentiment,Alastair.

Borrani's look great on 'curves and chrome' cars of the 40's,50's,60's and very early 70's.

After that, you had the advent of almost, zero chrome and the replacement, thanx mainly,to the Federal 5mph impact situation of plastic/rubber look and the colourcoded/blackout look. This is why the USA cars look soooooo awful in comparison to Euro spec cars(I won;t even start on the smog issue).

all good. my 365 is having it's second motor build in 1,000 miles. thread about that nightmare. the Pete Townshend 400ai convertible is getting the top repaired. it had a very poor attachment at the rear. also needs a boot cover. carpet snaps. the with 5,990 showing the speedometer stopped.(but the clock works) so that will be corrected. kick down cable is not working. an easy fix. I am having new sun visors made. I will post photo if any interested. cost as well. visor clips are done. a sample pair are being tested. I am selling parts to a spare 400(1977) if anyone has needs. I made extra hood pad. $1,000. I also bought the wire wheel set for $5,000. really did not need. as I have just put a set on the 400. old parts guy sickness, spares are good.. I do not know if you guys have any idea what they cost new. pushing $40,000, I think. beautiful weather here. but freeze temp. tomorrow. I went to my cancer Dr. Tuesday. when I go back in April he told me I will get a treatment that will get the last 10%. good stuff to hear. I am on a real high. TV celeb. as well. posted on a thread here. about the garage I am building to hold 34 of my cars. life cannot get much better

    Hi Simon
very thoughtful and informed description on the subject. Its interesting how car design and aesthetics change not necessarily as the designer would have wanted but because of other factors. Definitely Borannis are beautiful and definitely the Cromodora wheels on the 400 are fantastic.
    Regards
    Alastair

Very nice, and in the boxes!!
This thread reminded me of one of the earlier 400s that I considered back in 2008, located in Tempe AZ. In spite of being an automatic, I thought it was a lovely car, until I got more, closer pics and saw the serious cancer above the windshield. Was supposedly ordered new from Ferrari with a full set of Borranis, all five. Ser# a little after mine: 23999 (still carbs, too)
    Looked stunning on them.

I wonder where this car is now.
