The 400 is buried behind the '41 Cadillac under the cover - hopefully I'll sort the gearbox out soon and post some pix of them side by side.

You know, anyone who doesn't appreciate our cars are idiots - they really are lovely things to own and drive.

Took a while to find the right storage unit but this is dry, bright, insulated etc - pretty much perfect.

I'm also getting the one adjacent to this one soon - exactly the same but a bit bigger at 8000 sq ft.

    More room for more cars.

According to Simone I'm an idiot some times but I disagree.

I'm an idiot all the time !

Interesting collection with so much large American iron. As for the other weird obsession (What is the first? It couldn't possibly be Ferraris, could it?), are you looking to add to add another in that genre?

In other words, are you an ambulance chaser? ;)

All the yanks are pretty much in the front row, I need to have a shuffle about to put 365 and 400 in a row. Back row is jags, Porsches, Scimitar etc.

The black hearse came about by chance, me being me I then got hooked and bought the white one. On Wednesday I'm probably buying a third (yeah - I know !!)

I'm always on the lookout for odd stuff so a classic ambulance (or fire engine) would fit it in very nicely thank you.

Please be aware that you, happy owners of a huge garage full of amazingly nice cars, you all are badly destroying my self esteem... I look at my humble 600 sqm and... well, i start with something like "I have a dream..." and my wife/boss looks at me with that face that we know too well 😠
    Seriously, I'm impressed... CONGRATULATIONS !

Marco, my partner Simone gets the same "everyone else has a bigger one" look on her face when she sees me naked.

    Nuff said......

Indeed it is. And the nose of the Mustang just poking out between the pale blue '53 Cadi and the covered up '41 Cadi is the one from Wheeler Dealers as well.

I've become very greedy in my old age (well, oldish - is 55 old these days ?)

Congrats, Russ! Beautiful pad for your cars. Mine are scattered about all over the place, some are in France as well! You are a lucky man indeed.

That mustang is beautiful!! If you ever consider selling you know who to call.

And yes, our tastes are definitely parallel in many ways.

Parallel tastes except that Jay seems to have a little problem with roofs! :)
But parallel to mine, for sure!

For sure- I like them in Red too!

Just like the 400/412 from 3-5 years ago- cannot believe how cheap some really clean low mileage XJS are here in the States. Can't last much longer I think.

When I was a kid (born until I was about 6 or 7) my dad had a 1965 K-Code Mustang convertible. 289 HiPo, 4-speed. Originally rangoon red on red interior--it had been painted black by the time my dad bought the car in 68 or 69. He sold it in 82 needing some level of restoration.

I've been trying to find the car, if for any other reason just so see it and hand some period pictures over to the current owner. Last the K-Code registry has it, it was in NJ but no other information.

Until I was 5 my mom drove a yellow 1970 Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland in it.

But for me, I didn't get that American car gene.....my love is with the Euros.
