Serial number range for the 365 GT4 2+2?

    Does anyone know what the engine serial numbers are for the 365 GT4 2+2?
    How closely do they sequentially follow the chassis numbers?
    I did a search, there is not much info on this subject. I have the "Red Book" but it only has the serial numbers.

    Thanks in advance for any guidance or information.

    They have the same engine coding as the 365GTC/4.
    The third prototype 365 GT4 2+2 (#16293) has the engine F101AC000*00603
    One of the last 365 GT4 2+2s produced (#19379) has the engine F101AC000*01114*
    so i would guess engine numbering is in the 600-1130 range.
    Engines were produced in batches, sometimes they were inserted sequentially (so the next serial number had the next engine number), but usually they did not match, and the next serial number could be 20 0r 30 away in terms of engine number.
    I have a lot of engine numbers (by serial number) in my database so I can probably give you some assurance that your engine is original (if that is your concern), but not 100% assurance.
