1982 Ferrari 400i | Bring a Trailer
Jeezuz, what a bunch of uninformed comments on that site, some apparently from fellow owners. I think we've seen this car before. Good luck to the seller.
Interior leather is believed to be all original but with the wrong seat pattern probably installed by the same guy who installed the Borg Warner automatic.
Sold, sold, sold for $42,000. I would've thought it'd bring more, but with the Whitney Houston 412 selling last month also for this money, perhaps the market isn't improving stateside as much as we'd expect?
Patience, patience ..things are improving... So where do the tiny lower exhaust manifold tubes hook up to...what kind of air pollution device
I had the opposite view of you guys on this sale, I'm way more Bullish. Recall... - 94,000 miles shown (NOT KM as noted in the description, the ODO/Speedo is miles) - Disclosed accident repair (metal work, not just paint) - WRONG interior, neither series 1 nor series 2 - Pretty much zero service records ALL disclosed on the thorough BAT thread. And still $42,000 for an auto in the US. Strong money I say.
I agree with all of the above. Very little useful information disclosed about this car's history and service. As the owner of its near-twin (40555) with no accident damage, a lot fewer miles, correct everything, and history/service records, I'd call this well sold. If the buyer's eyes are wide-open to the potential up and downsides, I'd also call it well bought. Time to update my insurance...again.
Uh, no, sorry. If you look closely that is a KPH speedo with the infamous MPH sticker overlay. See the white paper line around the warning lights?
Has on offer 1977 400 gt carbed 5 spd manual black/tan did not note miles overall very nice presentation. Looks like solid well-cared for car......final selling price will be worth watching. Jack
I'll take your word for it, over my depth on these cars. Was/am surprised a sticker would have the Veglia branding? Thank god mine slipped through Federalization w/o the speedo/odo being messed with.
Looks like a nice car indeed! No price note, but this not be cheap! http://driver-source.ebizautos.com/detail-1977-ferrari-400_gt-used-14478269.html Sam, perhaps you can do your documentation magic? I suppose it's got CARB sticker given the CA plates which would make it extra desirable. However, is it me or does the passenger side front light assembly look askew? Cheers! Ruben
This is a Berlin Goose neck in BB from new, Ive since put the stock seats and belts in but the radio stays! You can see the key pad mounted on a flexible neck just beyond the shifter. Pretty cool stuff. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
