Back in the saddle again with #52389 - question on hood vent color

    After selling #40065 to a friend last year, becoming friends after the sale, driving around in the car with him in it, and then having acute case of seller's remorse, I am back in the saddle again with #52389.

    I have a question. This one's all black. Should the hood vent be silver or white? This is a 1984 400i. I'm trying to make sure that all aspects of the car are 100% period correct.

    I'm also in the market for the original 400i luggage and a manual pouch if anyone is selling or has a lead for a sale.

    Agree.....series 2, hood grill is body color.

    Yes let's organize one.The friend I sold 40065 to will go to Monaco for the Grand Prix so we can do it after that. Between now and then we need to find all bay area 365 400 412 owners we can find.
