    I think I may have found the cause of my intermittent interior light problem. I seem to be missing the door warning lights & the wires are shorting inside the door. Out of all three cars & two lots of spare doors (10 doors in total) none have a complete light to give me an idea of what they originally looked like. I have found a couple of different styles of these lights but cannot find them in a parts listing for the 400i.
    Does anyone know what type was originally fitted to the 400i?

    I haven't got any yet. These bottom two pictures are just pictures off the net but I can't find any part numbers or which type I'm meant to have. One set is a lot more expensive than the others though. :(

    Same as a 308 and I imagine a bunch of other italian cars, I thought they were readily available.

    I got mine from Eurospares a couple of months ago. I can sen you the part number if you need it, They were surprisingly cheap and with the current exchange rate they will be even cheaper now.

    Which type are the Eurospares ones? They don't have a picture so I wasn't sure. From what's left of mine I think they should be like the 3rd picture in my original post but the only ones like these I have found are around $100 Aus each.

    Good day All,

    I cannot speak for the 400 series, but on the 365 Gt4 2+2 the door ajar lights are not the same as the 308s... They are made by Altissimo and not Carello, etc.

    Here is a picture of what is used on my 365. The middle diameter is 31mm, the longest diameter is 47.2mm, and the hole to hole spacing is 38mm. These Altissimo lights are hard to find. I had one that was severely cracked/damaged and it took about 10 months before a reasonably used one came up on Ebay. They were used on some older Alfas and Maseratis as well.

    That's the one I need. I wonder if the other lights will work also?

    At this point I don't care if it's the exact right part, only that it will fit in the existing hope.

    Would one of you guys with the 400 light be kind enough to measure it and post the dimensions.

    I have 365 & 400 doors here & can confirm they have the same size.

    Just purchased some of these for my cars -

    RED Door Warning Light SET Ferrari | eBay

    They have some left if anyone is after some.

    FYI, the lights from the above eBay listing will work on the 365 but they are different.
