    Not sure how to call the piece but there is a heat shield like "fabric" on the underside of the hood. Mine is black (as in most pictures I have seen) and has a pattern of small perforations. Mine has a few small tears and I would like to replace it.

    1. Does anyone know if any of the F-parts places stock a replacement piece?
    2. Does anyone know a source of the material or near match?
    3. If anyone has replaced with something a bit different, let me know what they used and send a pic of the final result.

    I have a great local upholstery shop that can do all the sewing if I can find the material. Purchasing at a reasonable price would be even better.

    Ken, Mitch had three made, one of which I purchased. I haven't installed it yet but it looks to be identical to the original. You could borrow it from me as I was planning to paint the car this winter and wouldn't install the liner until after that work is done. PM me or Mitch if you want his source. Rick
