    We have done work with a few of these car restoration shows. I do quite a bit for the Car SOS show, which is a great show; and honest.

    I have however worked for shows telling people how easy it is to make a fortune restoring cars and then showing a brake down of the parts they use to restore their '70s Maserati, which completely missed out the £ 1,500 worth of new Michelin XWX tyres, and i know they fitted them because we sent to them.

    So when contemplating the vast profit you can make restoring a 400i it is worth contemplating that TRX tyres 240/55VR415 Michelin TRX | Longstone Tyres just cost € 393 + VAT each at present.

    Sorry, I'm not saying don't do it, but the costs do mount up
