    Can't see for looking, but can't see where the towing eye screws into the front of the car! Any clues?

    I don't think there is one. Ferraris never break down to need one.

    I saw one "towing ring" for sale on eBay.
    Should I say "towing ring" or anything else??
    By the way I never found anything about it in the owners manual...

    I would have thought of all the Ferraris, these are the ones requiring the towing eye (ducking below parapet).

    Took the bumper off now so I can get a rope around the frame.

    As far as I know, only the 412 has a provision for installing a tow hook. The spot for installation (see owners's manual page 57 figure 36 for the 1988 version) is located on the right side of the front spoiler and is hidden by a plug of the same color as the spoiler.
