I'm proud to announce that 62573 will be moving in with me. Time to give this beauty some much needed TLC. Please don't tell the wife. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's an automatic, Grey/Bordeaux, 25,000 miles. It's going to need a thorough looking over/inspection before I start driving it. Muffler supports dry rotted, change spark plugs, etc...... Not thrilled about antenna on rear deck. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It certainly is a very good looking car - all other offerings by that dealer seem to be incredibly appealing, well-presented vehicles. Congrats and let us know how we can help! Did you see it in person/had a someone else check it out for you/get a PPI? What made you join the madness, which albeit, affects each of us differently, but? PS - None of us will tell your wife about it - she doesn't know already? That's the best move - shoot first, and ask questions later, mate!
The other old thread about 62573. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/365-gt4-2-2-400-412/444541-1986-412-%2444-900-a.html
Yes, I flew out and test drove it. Hit 90 mph in no time and inspected for issues underneath using a lift after drive. It looked impressive and the dealer was patient with me. I bought this car because I wanted something with fine Italian craftsmanship, something I could pack my wife and 7 year old son into and was truly a rare find without breaking the bank. I'm looking forward to putting some much needed love into this baby!
OttoB to add: I owned an 85 BMW 745 turbo for some years and loved the "wide ass", sort of diplomatic 4-door but the 2 door ferrari coupe reigns superior. I also understand the 80's technology. This car is a perfect fit for my personality.
