    I am looking at a 550 ,1999 , my contact tells me new clutch, new brakes about 5K ago, and that it will need a belt service in about 12 months due to age, not miles...they want me to make an offer, what is the avg cost of a belt service and who do you guys like in Dallas for a PPI, Norwoods? If so who do I ask for...thnx! dog

    but the dealer is saying needs to be done in 12 months, I am thinking NOW! BTW, I saw on Norwoods where they say they support Ferrari in the 3 year/miles interval but they ALSO state on their website that they used to suggest 5-7 and then go on to say that they NEVER had a client with a belt failure; some I hear think Ferrari is over emphasizing the belt intervals; of course I do not want a $40K repair, the web also says they had seen failures at 10 years...BIG difference in opinion, dogdoc

    dog, a word of advice. Before you post any more threads that have been covered ad nauseam, you might want to try a search. The search Nazis are very active here and I am surprised that you have not already been skewered for asking such basic questions. Belt service questions will cause ridicule faster than any other topic.

    Earlier this year Wynn in Las Vegas quoted normal cost at $2300.
