Just grab and twist. That's what I did. Maybe a little heat with a hair dryer. BE CAREFUL

Anyone offer replacement rubber handles alone, similar to original? Actually have an Ebrake on order but it never seems to come in. Be nice to find just the handle.

Bill- Have seen CF handles, but not just the rubber part. Only available as a complete unit. Usually a couple of units on E-Bay.

I bought a CF handle as part of a group buy, but never installed it and sold it to an F355 owner. All of the handbrake assemblies are about the same unit.

The reason for that, Bill, might be that the NOS handle assemblies have gone sticky over the years in storage.

    Thanks guys!
Barry, mine's not sticky so much as shows signs of ring scuffing/excessive use. Trying to balance replacement with not too much insanity. With Taz's help we discovered that some colors are considerably cheaper than others. Will post my solution at some point.
Seems like the rubber handle/grip would be an easy piece to reproduce, although I haven't taken mine off yet.

I have bought a CF handle from one of the advertisers here.
It works well and it looks the part.
I kind of miss getting my figers stuck on the gooey old one though...

Seems few people will buy them off ebay. Most stay on for a very long time. One came up for $100 (whole assembly) and the grip was in good shape so I bought it. My car came with a CF aftermarket and I want it more stock. The grip slid of with a good amount of effort. Just twisted back and forth and pulled with my spaghetti arms.

Some come off just as you describe and some do not. Here is a link on my experience and should you want to DIY.
