Anybody know of a US spec 575 3 pedal for sale ? Kindly PM. Thank you.
My guess is you will have to do an extreme job of networking to get a jump on one. I have seen 4 come for sale since I sold my 575.
Ah how times have changed. When I bought (and sold) 2005-2007, I got dinged because it was a 3 pedal! I do wish I still had it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am selling mine. PM for details. I am in the middle of a trade discussion with the dealer, so there's always that option. Philip
Wow. I've only been doing this Ferrari thing since 2012. So earlier on you were considered a red-headed step child vs. a Pagan God nowadays?
As I mentioned, I am in the middle of a trade discussion on the car and my guess is it will be worked out the week after Christmas so I haven't been marketing the car. So, with apologies to the mods - feel free to move this to the FS section if that's where it belongs, here are some pics and the basic spec. 2002 575M with 20,XXX miles. Purchased by me in 2010. Fully serviced by Continental in Hinsdale, it had the major done in February - March this year. I have a good set of service records including the first major done by Cauley. Continental know the car well (they've serviced it since I've had it) and know me well (I've bought 3 cars from them). Feel free to cal lGary Kral the service manager on 630-655-3535. I found the original springs too soft and upgraded the springs, the ARB to the HGTC bar, added the Fiorano steering ECU and the upgraded shock ECU. It was also aligned to HGTC specs. Drives like it should have when it left the factory. The leather is in good condition excepting the rearmost shelf that surrounds the brake light which shows some sun damage (it's wrinkled). There's no stickiness yet apart from the two buttons on the floor that control the fuel release and trunk release. Usual treat second gear gently until the gearbox has a bit of warmth. Accelerates and runs like a frieght train. Resonator delete and a Nuvarlari (sp?) exhaust. Sounds awesome. Car has Daytonas with contrasting inserts, stock (18" rims, not the modulars), and does not have the embossed shields in the fenders. All keys, fobs, covers. Carfax is clean. PM me for anything further. I have been asked for an other interior shot, showing the Daytonas. Here you go. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Subject to an inspection, my 6-speed 575 has sold. I believe the acquiring dealer is going to add to his personal collection. To the OP and others contacting me by PM, I wish you well in your searches. They are great cars. Philip
Gunby if the question is posed to me, I have a verbal handshake with a dealer on a trade. He is keeping it for his private collection along with my MV Agusta. If it becomes unraveled for some reason, one potential acquirer has made a cash offer so he's next in line. Philip
Philip- Affirmative, you will always be welcome. Can you pass us the name of whoever did your springs for you? I must not have put it on my hard drive.
My gated 575 has been acquired by Chicago Motor Cars. It is listed on their website and I expect pics will be available soon. Great car for those looking for a manual transmission equipped 575. For those that asked, I bought a Balboni edition Gallardo (2WD). Philip
Philip- Thanks, sure your 575M will not last long and I will bet you got a good trade on the Lambo in January, when things are slow.
