I would buy this car just as readily as I would buy a Picasso painted last weekend at the Venice biennale this week. There are plenty of nice 456s for not much more money. And the mileage on this one could be as authentic as the paintwork.

Where are you located? And who is representing the car for sale? I have 131637 as Grigio Titanio with gray leather, last seen for sale on eBay in L.A.

Bernard, do you know the year of that auction listing?

    Interesting ...

After crash was: "Vehicle color noted as Blue" ... why should have change the color in 2 years ...

But yes ... it was born in Titanium color ... 2 sources prove it ...

Yes, the price asked is in line with the market ... but here is very difficult to source a decent Used Ferrari

I was looking for crash photo of ferrari 456 ... but I guess I did not find it

Or maybe it was this one:

Actually it can be this (last photo), since date is April '08 ...

Carbon doesn't own it, he keeps a database of Ferrari VINs and sales history. It's pretty amazing.

Those wheels indeed. Do the originals come with the car? Why does it have different wheels to begin with, the damage was severe enough to damage wheels and Ferrari wheels proved too expensive?
Also note that the front bumper does not have side markers while the rear does.
All this tells you something about the attention to detail in the rehabilitation process of this car.

Tom, thank you for this clarification (and the compliment!).
Hi, e_lm, as Tom has already indicated, I don't own this car - I've never owned it - I merely maintain a Ferrari database where I attempt to keep track of every Ferrari ever made. I don't have any history on 131637 post-2007, just the following two entries: For sale at Ferrari Beverly Hills, May, 2005, Grigio Titanio with gray leather, Daytona seats, light gray stitching, shields, aluminum calipers, 1,628 miles, one owner. Then, in October, 2007, it was for sale on eBay through what I can only assume was a private seller located in L.A., 2,450 miles, purchased new through FBH "by the first/only owner."

After October, 2007, I don't have any additional information on this car in my database.

I apologize for the confusion in my initial post. I realize that when I said, "I have 131637," you read it to mean that I had it, meaning I owned it, when in reality I meant that I "had" it in my database. I'm sorry.
