Car has been problem free for 2 years after I replaced both catalytic ECU modules and ran flawlessly 2 weeks ago. Wanted to go out for a quick drive today and after start up the right engine bank seems to be having issues. Started easily. Idled smoothly. The check engine light comes on for less than a second and then the slow down light comes on for less than a second and then both go off for 30-120 seconds. Does this repetitively. Engine idles smooth but feels underpowered when driven. Drove it around until all warmed up but the issue continues. Tried cleaning the contacts at the modules in front of the doors but the issue continues.

Any suggestions for a guy with limited mechanical skills. Mechanic is 100 miles away from home in LA.

Second follow up question: Do you think I can drive the car for 100 miles?

    A few questions for you:
Do the exhaust and the manifolds on the right become warm?
Does it smell of fuel out of the exhaust?
If it smells of fuel, it could be failure of the ignition amplifier. If there is no fuel smell and no/little heat, it is most likely that there is no fuel making it to the right engine bank. The cause of that is likely the fuel pump or its power supply (relay or fuse).
Have the fuel pump rubbers been replaced yet on your car?

As 166 said, first determine if it a fuel or ignition related issue -

Remove spark plug and look at the condition of the plugs - take pictures and post them here.

If the spark plugs are "dry", then you have a fuel delivery issue -

Also, touch the manifold and exhaust to make sure which bank is having issues.

    Good luck
