Just saw that Rick Cole for August 2015 is auctioning off a super rare 575 SA stick. FYI to my brothers (and sisters) who may be interested in acquiring 1 or purportedly 39 (or so) sticks produced for the SA. Good hunting !

That's quite a car. Kudos to the eventual buyer. It combines two of my dreams, an SA and a 575 stick. One day...

Agree 100%. It seems like quite the unicorn and considering that non-stick 575SA's have hit the $400K+ (USD) mark and 575 sticks are at $200K+ (USD) I'm thinking this baby should go for at least $500K and maybe even $600K (USD). Might not be another one for sale for awhile. I believe it had under 9K miles and was a US spec SA. Color seemed a bit different (dare I say unique). I'm technologically challenged so maybe someone can post the link.

I think the $650K-$750K estimate is pretty ambitious but considering that this is probably the only stick SA for sale in the US they might set the market on this car.

IMO, that car is much more valuable then a run of the mill 599 with stick.

I agree 100%. I always question the actual numbers without actual written factory backup but seems like common knowledge here that approx. 39 stick SA's produced and approx. 300 599 sticks produced (for the World). I'm sure Carbon/Taz can verify/corroborate same. Whatever the actual number of SA sticks produced its clear that its among the rarest of modern F cars.

Fabio, after 3 efforts of sending the RH headers back to Supersprint from Oz, we finally have headers suitable for RH drive Maranellos. I am having the 3inch exhaust system redesigned to run under the half shafts. My interior has been stripped and the damaged leather being replaced with leather from Ferrari. I hope it will be ready on my return to Oz in Sept. In the meantime my need for accelerative forces have been provided by my E55 and my LS7 Ute. The tripling in value of my manual 575 in the interim has also helped my mood. I will share new dyno figures and 60-100mph times when available. Thanks for asking.

Agreed. I've been dealing with auction sales all my life - just watches instead of cars- and it's common knowledge that you'd want the low/high estimate - the low usually reflecting the seller's reserve - to be invitingly lower than the potential full selling price. Just an old rule, not necessarily a good one, but most pros stick to it unconditionally. This been said, it is my opinion that the estimate is dead on what this car should bring based on the market. Way rarer, interesting - and driveable - than a Barchetta, it has to bring way more than the "new" average price of a SA anyway. Not sure about how the special color would help the price, however: black on black, just to make an example - like the one that sold in NY a couple years back, now allegedly in Canada - would make more of a desireable car to most people. If the estimate showed a $ 250/300K reserve I would have probably thrown a low ball offer just in case - even though I already own a 550 and a stick 575 - just because I know there won't be that many chances for my budget to add a stick SA to my lot in the near future: knowing that an offer with a chance needs to be $ 600K plus, I won't even try. I would have not won the car anyway, but underbidders are always important to build up the final selling price in auction. With this estimate, they'll have to get that - at least - one motivated buyer leaving little room to the odds to make the sale. Probably the seller didn't leave them a choice, and they decided to take a chance. Nevertheless, I think it should sell all the same.
