Our friend Northman has lost his battle with Cancer on july 5th... His "most famous" thread was the one below http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575-sponsored-bradan/439722-my-456gt%3D60th-birthday-present.html Au revoir Denis...from all your Ferrari friends.
Hi, Yes, sad news. But the good part is that just like he himself described in that thread, he was able to fulfill and live his dream. What more can one ask for? I know, people will always want a little bit more (more money, more time, more women...oh well, in some cases enough is enough) But making dreams come true is what drives most of us, I think. Now I'm beginning to think I sound like "Swiss Tony", after all, driving a Ferrari is very much like... Sorry if my humour is too tacky for some of you fellow fchatters. Off to Le Mans tomorrow with the 456 GT! 720km in one go! Cheers, Pekka T. Fin.
Very sad to hear. (I lost my first wife to leukemia at 47, so I know too well what it's like to go through).
RIP. I enjoyed reading his thread. Inspirational and puts into focus just how lucky we are to own these great cars...T
Very sad news. I corresponded with Denis a few times when I was looking for a 456. He was polite, charming, and funny.
Such sad sad news, RIP to our friend Denis. My condolences to his wife and family, his huge love for them shone through in his writings.
RIP Denis... Life is too short , we should enjoy the good things that life gives us. My friends... enjoy your cars in good health.
Farewell, the 456 was just a toy, but I am glad you got to experience her. Too many stories like this in my life at the moment. Sad.
