Cheap insurance. It costs $750 or more just to refinish 4 wheels. Then you have...you guessed it...refinished wheels...

…very nice to have an additional set of wheels at that price.... ! Highly undervalued actually, imho. Johnny, again a big difference between European quotations and US quotation to refurbish the alloys. Mine has been done perfectly, costs where 280 € for all of them...
$750 here. That's about what it cost for the DB7 wheels (19"). It does include dismount, remount and balance of the tires though. Figured I better put some in stock before they are gone...
This is a really good offer! I put a set of 550 modular wheels on my 550 and all of a sudden, that same car looked older! Later I have put the original wheels back on. The strange thing is that these original ("boring looking") wheels actually make the body work look extremely sharp! It is a kind of balance between the rims and the body. The cooler the rims look the less spectacular the body will look like.... Am I right or way off the line? 😃 Cheers!! Good luck with the sale. I would have bought them had they been here in Europe.
Erik, my way of thinking as well...., expressed it already several times. But surely can accept different opinions, just a matter of personal taste. In my case, and if I would feel the will to change, would do it strictly either for 19 inch Modulars or 19 inch Novitecs. Chris, are the conditions valid for European customers as well?
Taz, question for you? Can't send you a private message. I need help with my left fender on my 97' 550 getting really hot. My Ferrari MECHANIC is having trouble figuring it out. Not much hotter out tail pipe, before cats. No engine light comes on but inner and outer fender getting blistering hot! Any ideas? Bill Huntington Beach CA
Billy- I sounds like a leak or clog of some sort since the 550s do not have cats in the headers like the 575s. Have you put a rag over the tailpipes on that side to see if there is a leak upstream? Also, a clogged catalyst will tend to create so much back pressure that the exhaust and head will heat up. Worth checking. If so, probably a noticeably lower exhaust flow from that side of the exhaust. That side running lean from an injection/ignition issue could cause excessive heating, too. You need a good pro to find the problem in a hurry before you damage something.
Hit the nail on the head. I bought my 550 in 2007 and it had some 19 inch modulars. Changed them back to originals. Car was more planted and more comfortable. Stick with what the factory intended is my motto. Image Unavailable, Please Login
