I had these pictures taken towards the end of last year. Needless to say it was a magical day, the memory of which will last a lifetime. All pictures by Charles Russel. Having the two cars together was quite special. Watching the Daytona disappear into the distance on the 100 km drive back. I was caught in the moment, sunset, majestic mountains and the sun bathing everything in this rich glow. Windows down, the cool evening air circulating around the cockpit of the Barchetta. Every gear change is a tactile pleasure and you ask yourself "do you really need big horsepower" 485 bhp is plenty to enjoy and way the engine delivers its power in such a linear fashion. Spectacular. Thanks for sharing these photos. Any chance of making high resolution versions available?
Very beautiful cars, Jacques, in a very beautiful place. And fantastic driving roads, I recall, from my time living down there (with nothing close to a V12 Ferrari to drive). Congratulations. Special.
Thanks! I have a few more of the Daytona I will add to these. There are some pretty special roads down here!
What a wonderful experience! Tip my hat to you, looks like an unforgettable drive, thanks for sharing the pics!
Reminds me of my old 14009, which also had the plexi nose. Great photos and I have very few of mine, which was Giallo Fly with black blood groove.
