    hello guys,

i am going to buy a Superamerica from UK and will be deliver it to France .
as i know the lights direction is different in UK and Europe .
Is there a switch on the rear of light so you can change direction for right hand or left hand drive ? Like on 355 or older cars.

    thanks

Unfortunately, there is no switch. You can have a simple modification to the lights by having a shade inserted, which will give a flat beam, otherwise you need to buy complete new units (very expensive). In the UK the only person I know who does the modification is Jack Charlesworth at My Car Import. Home | My Car Import | Car Importers He is very helpful.

The above comments are likely more appropriate to the OP's question. As a FYI I had this pic handy from the Work Shop Manual. It is very easy to actually adjust the headlights should you want a change. Simply turning two screws.

This has been discussed before on this forum.
The headlights of the 550 can be adapted by opening them and rotating by 180° the small metal screen that shapes the beam.
Do a search for more details, I remember the instructions on how to do this are very clear.
