    my new toy finally arrived at the dealers workshop on monday, and now looking at a 7-9 day prep time. hopefully they'll be able to speed up the pdi and i can get my hands on it by the weekend!

    The first picture looks a bit like matte silver at quick glance (which isn't obviously) :)

    A beauty. What does the dealer do for prep? I would be chomping at the bit to take delivery day 1.

    Thanks everyone for the kind words!

    Indeed it's grigio titano on nero race seats with the standard aluminum trim inside. Think it breaks up the Nero interior nicely and does go well with the exterior.

    Not sure what's done in the pre delivery prep but I'll be sure to be hounding them everyday to speed it up!

    It's been a long time in the making have lost count of the days waiting, and now have only a few more sleepless nights to go!

    Very nice but I am biased as well as mines is titanio!

    My car arrived on a thursday morning at the dealer and I drove away on the friday afternoon - they did a great job of getting it ready. I was told they take it on a run for near 20 miles and do a set amount of braking from certain speeds to get the brakes bedded in or checked, not sure.

    Wow that came out fantastic! I love the rear grill and the interior is perfect.

    If I see this on the streets of HK, now I'll know it's you! Have a great time with it, even thought driving in HK has it's "traffic" issues! :)

    I've seen the dealer prep check list. It's over an inch thick! There's all kinds of numbers, notes, and read outs and things marked in it from the technicians, not to mention final cleaning and detailing. Usually 3 to 4 days is about right.

    fantastic combination and beautifuly enhanced with the CF grill and race seats. How good does your Italia look...wow!!

    Only a few more days to go...I remember visiting my dealer every day when it arrived to see what prep stage they were at, make sure you accompany the mechanic on the pre-delivery road test, this is where they check at the vitals, steering, bedding in brakes, gearbox/shifting, instruments etc, they go over everything and for me was quite a special experience adding to the anticipation.

    That is a beautiful car. I nearly went Grigio Silverstone but didn't like how dark it got on dull days, that colour solves the problem, that or Grigio Ferro for my next one, I love the carbon fibre interiors on the 458 but with that colour the standard looks so right. well done on a great looking car.
