TTN27 and I were curious about this, and he suggested that fchatters might have fairly good information on the number of allocations their particular dealer giving the or would get.

if we can come up with a reasonable estimate of the number Speciales in the United States, then we can make a better guess about the total that will be made.

If you have any insights as to the total number of Speciale allocations your dealer has received (or will receive) then post the name of your dealer and your best estimate of their total allocations.

I'm trying to put together a complete list of authorized Ferrari dealerships in the United States. Here's what I have so far. I'm sure this list has errors and is incomplete, but it's a start. Please let me know if you see any errors or omissions, and I'll correct the list.

Rick, thanks for starting this thread. I would also add Ferrari of Austin for a total of 4 dealerships in Texas. Hopefully with the help of everybody here, we would know very close to the exact number of allocations in the US (plus or minus just a few). With this number we can more approximate the total number of Speciale produced worldwide.

For Ferrari of Houston: about 10 allocations so far (including 2 in June, and I got one of the 2 June allocations). 😊
July will be the last month of allocation for the Speciale and FoH has not got their July allocation yet, probably next week). So at least for now assuming 1 additional allocation in July for a total of about 11 Speciale for Houston.

FOBH has Ferrari of South Bay and Ferrari of LA as well. Some of the Fchatters seem to be quite connected, any way that they could ask a higher up at the factory? Wasn't it around 1,800 Speciales that were going to be made? More than the 360CS but less than the 430 Scuderia.

That's what James at FoBH told me a year ago "more than Stradales and fewer than Scuderias". My guess is also about 1,800 :)

That would be great if we can find out from someone higher up at the factory. However, we were never able to get an exact (or even close to exact number for the Scuderia), so hopefully if we can get a total number of US allocations, we can closely approximate the total worldwide production and compare to that number given by somebody higher up at the factory (assuming someone here can get somebody from the factory who can reveal that number).
I think July allocation will be the last month allocation, at least at US dealerships (and each dealer should know its July allocation within the next week or so), so it should not be hard to find the total allocation each US dealer receives.

My estimate (for what it's worth):

Approx. 40 North American dealerships or so (including Canada).

An average of 10 - 12 cars per dealership.

    Therefore 400 - 480 cars in NA.

As NA is roughly 30% of Ferrari's total production, then approx. 1600 total worldwide Speciale's (not including A's).

    Just approximating...

That's what TTN27 and I were thinking also. But we were guessing an average of 8-10 Speciales per dealer. Since we're just killing time waiting for our Speciales to arrive (good problem to have for sure) we thought it would be interesting to see if we could get a better estimate of how many Speciales are coming to the US.

So if anybody has a good estimate about the number of allocations their dealer is getting let us know :)

Thanks Ron. I thought it would be easy to get a list of US Ferrari dealerships, but when I Googled it I was surprised that it wasn't an easy search.

Ferrari of Tampa Bay received 4 Speciale allocations. I received one of them, and my car is currently in production.

Also, I think the OP speculation that US dealerships on average receive 8-10 Speciales is a bit high. I'll cite the 4 that the Tampa dealership received. I suspect it's closer to 6 averaged across all dealers. If you include the Speciale Apereta (which I did not in my figures above, the allocations seem to be about half of those for the Speciale coupe.

I counted 36 dealers (are they missing some?)

+1 . My dealer (Houston) is getting about 11 (10 so far plus +/- 1 for July allocation). So based on the number of dealerships in the US, even at an average of 8 cars per dealer, it should be way less than 350.
