Somebody knows who is the manufacturer of this exhaust? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skjfWjbjiuM Sounds pretty cool!
That is standard. Every 488 that I have seen revving so far had a thick dark cloud coming out of it when revved
Garage Total in Japan makes it. Oh look, someone pissed in Lesia's cherries yet again. Perhaps that's water vapor like every other car puts out on startup?
I'm sorry, is there some kind of problem with me pointing out that it looks excessively smoky and more so than I've noticed from any other revving 488?
I watched the entire video....where's all the smoke being discussed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You don't see all the black smoke coming out of the exhausts? It's not subtle. Seems to be significantly more smoke than I've seen in any other video of a 488 being revved at standstill.
I do not see "all the black smoke"....I see some very little white smoke coming out which is common and the amount of which can vary on how long the car has been sitting as well as the temperatures....seems normal to me Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
On watching again, yes, not 'black' (nor white, somewhere in the middle). But certainly not "very little" Look at 0:47, as an example. I've not seen another 488 belch like that. Happy to be proved wrong, though, if you have a vid where one does.
Like I already said...every 488 does this. I have a video to show it. How can I upload it on fchat, anyone?
I just went back and looked at a load of videos and it seems to vary. Some have nothing coming out, such as this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMAi6OpsBzw and this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOSyrBB7rlk And some do put out puffs. Never noticed it before and this one does seem a little more than the others. Still, it's a trick exhaust so not comparable with standard and, yes, maybe it's cold.
Hardly a trace of smoke there, either. While I can see what people mean about the sound, I rather like the sound of the 488, just because it has a sort of baritone F430 thing going on and I prefer the sound of the F430 to the 458.
