Thoughts on this 458 Speciale in black?

That is absolutely stunning, needs to be bought quickly

 

I love it, blends with the seats. Lets face it, Speciale's should be loud

 

Are you kidding....that is one of the hottest colour combinations I've ever seen. Amazing!

 

I have seen this particular car in the metal quite a bit and is really a scheme that I didn't like at first when I saw it but when you see the car often and in different environments it does grow on you.

 

I love it! It should stand out!

I'm not a fan of the stripe color but everything else is great...wrap it?

 

If you have a chance to buy a Speciale, in any color combo, get it quick and you won't be anything but happy with your new asset!!

 

Not the most tasteful color scheme all around imho but the yellow calipers with everything else black/red really ruins it.

 

Im not a huge fan of black, but this is beautiful. I would have the calipers painted in Rosso Corsa instead of the yellow which stands out way too much. Go for it!

 

Since you asked for reactions.... I don't like it at all. But, as you say if your choices are thin, I don't think this is an embarrassing scheme to drive around and I think if the caliper color really bothers you, you can always get that changed (likely a bit pricy though). Perhaps the thing to do is get the car, enjoy it, keep an eye open for a color scheme you might like more and then decide if the cost of trading is worth it. A bird in the hand?

 

Looks OK to me. But I think it would look even better if the calipers were red or white. The yellow calipers look out of place with the white red nart stripe

 

Exactly. It cost us $2,000 at the dealer to color match the calipers.

 

Agree with everyone. I would buy it in heartbeat. Making me think whether to trade my Spider in also. Good thing the steering wheel is on the wrong side

 

When you're spending this kind of money, should you really pursue a car when this your initial reaction? In my experience it never ends well and ends up being cheaper to wait for what works for you. Maybe try to feel the gut punch of buying this one- which other people seem to adore but you abhore- and the car that pulls at your heart strings comes on the market shortly after. Be patient, it'll be worth it.

Everything looks good to me. All I would do is change the wheel caps to the carbon fiber ones and change the color of the brake calipers to red to match the stripe

 

Maybe film over the white areas on the Nart stripe and to make it med/seal grey. Red and white reminds me of the red cross. Red calipers would be nice too. Otherwise looks like a great car..

 

that's terrible - id love to know how many of the thumbs up people wld actually write a check for that car. be patient and wait for something better. I wldnt be changing calipers colors on a speciale.

 

It needs gold wheels, or dark grey, the black is too much.
