G'day everyone, I am Paul from Australia but now living and working in the middle east. I recently had the opportunity to fulfil a childhood dream of owning and driving my very own F car. I have spent the last week or so reading a lot of posts here trying to get answers for my planned upgrades and it has been very informative. 2012 458 Italia in Bianco Fuji Here are a few pics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Usually, red interiors are "too much" for my personal taste, but that's just fantastic! The contrast diamond stitching, the CF, etc. Also, the stripe on the exterior. Very nice spec. Enjoy piling up the km in your beauty...T
Congrats. Enjoy the car. That's one wild interior. Bianco fuji is a great color. Pictures don't capture it's true appearance
Red interiors are not my favourite either, but I also thought that the contrasting white stitching and piping on the seats as well as all the carbon fibre, gave the interior that WOW! factor.
Agreed. The stitched cavallino on the headrest is the cherry on the sundae. Enjoy your car in good health and welcome to the forum. T
Very nice. Enjoy to the fullest. Pretty amazing for your first Fcar. Right to the top you went. I had to start with the 355
Enjoy hats a lovely looking car, PLUS you live in a country where you can actually drive a car, unlike back in australia where the speed limits are ridiculously unrealistically low
Can anyone shed some light on the Special Edition badge please. I have this badge and have researched as to its significance with no luck. Any information is greatly appreciated. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's very interesting, Paul. I can't recall ever seeing that plaque, nor a special edition of a 458 Italia. The font seems slightly different from the official Ferrari letters, but it can be just me and/or the angle of the photo. Kind regards, Nuno
I'm pretty certain I can tell you what that is..... If you look closesly at the pictures, the plate is in the same space that a dedication plate would be, however it also looks like the dedication plate has been removed as I guess it was personalised to a previous owner and replaced with this plate. The new plate looks like it is slightly the wrong size and certainly the wrong font and unless it is just a bad picture you can see where the old plate has been removed with some small marks on the leather. My bet is the car has had a minimum of 2 previous owners and the original dedication plate was for owner 1 and owner 2 took it off and put this on instead. I don't think it was a dealer fit as a dealer would probably have used a Ferrari part with something generic written on it... I maybe wrong, but pretty certain that is what it is... Lovely car by the way! Regards Michael
