Rosso angelo - taylor made

Interesting, I'm very curious about this colour. What kind of red is it?

 

Looks like pink

 

the funny thing is that "Due Mani e Mezzo" means "two and half layers"
how do you put half a layer of paint on something? lol

 

Two layers of paint and a clear coat?

 

isn't that how a regular two coat paint job is done?

 

Would like to see this colour as I have never heard of it. Plus my first name is Angelo !

 

My name is also Angelo and will be placing my order for the 488. Ild love to see the colour.

For anyone who is industrious or who knows a good scratch and dent repair guy, there may be 2 ways to possibly identify/reproduce this color.

I have previously called PPG - a noted paint supplier to Ferrari - to get color info. I wanted "fly yellow." That is right, in 2006 I had to call PPG as Ferrari literally did not know this color!! WTF?
They gave me 3 or 4 different yellow paint codes for various years of Ferrari production.

Next, is that a good repair guy has a computer with virtually every color and its code/formula. He can likely whip up a quick batch in minutes. I watched them do this on my spider when I had this litle nick in the front bumper. Assuming I am reading the pic above correctly, even if a 1 off color - see below - I think the ratio of colors is in the pic so it is possible to "mix" from this.

Lastly, there was a thread a while back that listed I think every Ferrari color now and past. You might try a search for that thread to at least confirm that this isn't a custom Taylor Made color for a client. If it is then it would likely NOT be in the places listed above.

I hope someone identifies this color. would love to see it. Although, pictures never show the true color!!!

Why not ask the Tailor Made folks to send you a picture....then you can share it here with us .

 

Can I suggest that you contact the Atelier service in Manhattan as they would have record of every custom color...or could get them from The factory. I'm not certain every custom color can be reused but I'm sure some are available. You can get the Atelier number form your local Car dealer.

On the Japanese for sale looks close to Coburn but the Ferrari website looks like RC

 

I couldn't find any actual J50 online where the color was posted.
The model, though called R Angelo, is a model and I would take the represented color as less than gospel

It has a similar shade like Coburn
