488 Spider Canna Di Fucile Arrived, My first Convertible ever :)

I am on cloud 9. After a few years of enjoying my Scuderia, I decided to order my first "new" Ferrari. The whole experience of SPEC'n out your own Ferrari was an absolutely a blast. I had not idea you could choose so many different options and combinations.

My Scud is Grigio Silverstone and I wanted another grey color F-Car, just not the same silverstone. I was leaning towards the Canna Di Fucile, but there where no samples at the dealer. All my google image search found where a few pictures, and each of those pics was a different color I assume due to different lighting. It looked to be a little darker than the Silverstone but not to dark. Just what I was looking for. I went ahead and placed the order with Canna Di Fucile. I was not sure exactly what to expect, so I just kept my fingers crossed and began to wait......

5 Months later the wait was over, I got the call from Newport Ferrari that the 488 was on the showroom floor. I headed right over and boy was the excitemnt growing. When I walked in I turned the corner and saw it on the showroom floor, DAmnnnnnnnnn it looked soooooo good. I was so stoked. My gamble to go with Cann Di Fucile had paid off. The color is very nice and has so many different shades depending on the lighting. In the showroom it looked awesome. But when we pulled it outside, it really came to life. I was very impressed and happy with the results.

Now, to go for a spin in my very first convertible. Gash dang I have been missing out It sure is hard to beat the feeling of cruising down Hwy 101 with the top down and the engine peaking out at 7500 RPM. I will tell you one thing is for sure, that dang rev limiter sneaks up on you very fast with those twin turbos spinning at max boost This car is an absolute blast to drive. The acceleration feels like your on the space shuttle, just a constant pull all the way to 7th gear. The shifting is so smooth with the double clutch, and the down shift rev matching is like music to my ears. The comfort of the adjustable seats and smooth shifting make this an easy car to day on a road trip. I can easily see myself doing a rally in this 488 Spider. It will never have the sound of a Scuderia or 458, but it will damn sure get around the track quicker.

All in all, I am very excited and have really enjoyed the 488 Spider in the short time Ive had it. I think this will be one of my favorite vehicles to take out for quite a while. If anyone is waiting for their 488 to show up, be patient because it is well worth the wait

Ahhh thanks guy for the nice compliments. Should have front clear bra done by next week so I can really start putting some miles on it. So far, I am loving this Spider with the top down
