Roof Wrap Black: Gloss vs. Matte

I just got a white 458 coupe and thinking of wrapping roof.
Any opinions of gloss vs. matte black?
Opinions appreciated.
Thanks

gloss wrap - ugly plastic

matte wrap - freaking ugly plastic. Like an old Buick with a fake vinyl top

Factory black paint is beautiful on the top of a white Ferrari. Aftermarket plastic wrap looks like aftermarket plastic wrap.

so what to do?

Not wrap the roof?
Yes I live in Arizona.
Traded a California T for it and took major haircut...was spec'd beautifully
Not going to dwell upon it, much happier in the 458.
What I traded out of:

The white top will keep the car cooler in the Arizona sun. Your paint is a $27K option? Is that Fuji white?... all the better reason not to put black plastic on it.

Your 458 is gorgeous!

Thanks for the input

The Cali T was Fuji white.
No, the 458 is just white.
Unbelievable car.
Had no idea what I was missing.

Nice looking Cali t and 458. I would personally go with a gloss black wrap on your avus. If you go to a really good installer the wrap won't look cheap.

It will look like plastic wrap. It won't look like paint. Cheap.

+1 It is beautiful as it is, 2 tone is 1990s NSX and Camaro. Your car is one of the most beautiful 458s already, no need to do anything but enjoy one of the best cars ever created.

Here is a pic of my new 488.

Let's see who can guess if the roof is a wrap or factory paint?

Can anyone guess the roof color?

Personally if a wrap is done well...it looks great.
