I will be the owner of a beautiful 2012 458 Italia in a week or so and I'm looking for an insurance company. I live in California. Any suggestions as to which company offers the best insurance rates? I really appreciate your help.

Try Condon Skelly. They are really competitive. I have two Fcars and and old Fiat insured with them.

They won't insure any exotic cars that are MY 2000 or newer.

Strange. I had my 2007 F430 Spider with them prior. Maybe because I have multiple cars insured.

When I just called they said it was because they have had too many claims recently so they stopped writing them for now.

I just picked up my 2012 458. Have allstate for 18yrs. They would not insure it. >150k
They pointed me to Hagerty. 3k per yr. 200k agreed value.
    No accidents 45yrs old.
I am going to shop around but I was in the spot.

Costs depends on where you live. I'm in Miami, one of the most expensive due to scams, thefts and accidents. I'm paying $4,000/yr through Modern, the collector branch of Geico on a 2015 458.

Michigan is actually one of the highest because we are a no fault state. Haggerty wanted $7500 to insure the 458 and my Noble. With Grundy, paying around $800 for both. They are insanely inexpensive, underwritten by AIG.

2010 458. 1000 deductible. $2700 a year. still a good rate in my opinion as im 31 years old. i find the 550/year very hard to believe

Max Coverage. This is part of the MVP program. You need to have primary vehicles for every driver: 15 Ford F150 and 15 Macan Turbo for wife. Other insured cars are then considered "collector" cars and for us they include 12 458, 04 Noble, 06 Cayman S, 05 911 Turbo S Cab (For Sale), 11 R8, 15 Alfa 4C. Total for all 8 cars is $3700 / year. Use to pay almost 8K for same vehicles except the Ferrari with AAA. No tickets or accidents in the past 7 years. I am 55 so officially a senior citizen.

Tim, I got to tell you that you are paying excellent rates with Grundy. I was quoted way higher for 6 of my cars last year. 4 daily drivers and 2 f cars.

I just checked grundy, im in michigan and for my 355 gts the rate was no where near his rate for a 458. More than double just to be able to drive it.

I have no tickets or dui, zero accidents in over 23 years, No claims on my current policy eith usaa ever. They would be raking me over the coals.

I also used a pretty low number for the agreed value at 80k

I added my 95 355 just to see what it would say as its in storage.

Then my old winter beater truck you know the daily beater

All three vehicles even with the 95 being stored and not registered they charge $160 for each car for the "catostrophic claims fund" what a crock I hate this state.

I don't see how in the hell a 458 can be $500 for the year along with the $160 ccf charge per car and av of 250k.
