Considering current offers on a year old GTB prep wed, what would you consider the percentage off of MSRP to be considered a fair deal,, and would it be better just to buy new (if the percentage off MSRP was negigible say if it was only 5% off MSRP)?

I'm doubtful a dealer would even consider selling a brand new 488 off sticker. That's just not how it works but if your dealer can do it then go for it.

I'm in the US, Az458 I meant off sticker on a preowned one year old, as far as I understand on a 488 brand new you're paying sticker, but used there's some wiggle room, agreed?

If it is a pre-owned 488 that has a high msrp you should be able to get a discount. If it is a low MSRP (300k or lower) you probably won't get a discount unless you have a very good relationship with the dealer. This is just from my personal observations. For a new one, no discounts and straight msrp.

Thank u Mkraft, what would you consider on a 325k MSRP with 500-1000miles, 5% 10% off, I just don't want to get stuck with one years worth of depreciation, thanks for helping a rookie

I would think you would be doing good if you got 5% off that MSRP. Others can chime in what they are seeing in their markets in the US.

Unless the car you are looking at has weird options or colors, you won't get a deal. You'll pay MSRP or higher, especially now that summer is here and winter deals are vanishing. If you want MSRP you can get on a list at the dealer within 100 miles of your home and maybe wait a year or two for a new allocation to your own specs. That's the way it works in the US. There may be some deals out there, but it's usually for an an odd color combo or some odd options or aftermarket stuff that actualaly makes the car with less, even though more money was spent upfront. The good news is that even buying a used 488 you are saving money over new as prices for new went up around 10k I think and nothing new was added.

Very true. I think there is a Silverstone one with all blue interior that has been for sale for a while. It is an odd combo and you may see if you can get a deal on it.

I don't think you'd be able to get a deal for a pre owned at a reputable dealer. They have very few allocations and can quickly sell a lightly owned 488 at sticker or still slightly above

This is exactly correct. My 488 GTB is for sale with 2000 miles. It's being offered at over MSRP. Absolutely best case would be a flat MSRP deal.

I got my 488 in December. Sticker was 329k and I got roughly 5% off. However today I'm seeing what's for sale and it seems that coupes are going for at or above sticker and spiders well above sticker

Mine is a 2016. I purchased used. About 1000 miles on it when I got it.

From what I am observing, on a car with 1000 miles and a desirable build, you would be doing well paying MSRP flat.

On a $325 MSRP you should be able to get for about $310'ish or less (just depends how much they need to move and color, etc). More and more 488's are hitting market and seeing some pretty amazing deals.

    Good luck with the hunt.

Only "deals" you will ever see will be on ridiculous color combinations with high MSRP cars. My local dealer has 2 for sale that they can't seem to get rid of, asking $299K for each and they were originally asking $10K more.

I am amazed people order cars with all blue or red interiors. Blue makes me vomit, and an all red interior looks like you slaughtered a goat inside it.

I think you can find deals. No one should pay over msrp for a 16 right now, plenty available. There will be even more available in near future as they stopped producing the California and are focusing on producing more 488's....

Please see this car for the type of 488s you can find "deals" on...

Tell me how that blue interior looks through 30 minutes of driving, after you become nauseous and vomit inside:

I think my Vegas dealer has like 3 488's now including a spider.

Most have like 300 miles on them. I'm rather shocked at so many so quickly with such low mileage.

Scottsdale just sold a white used and they have 2 spiders in the showroom going above sticker.

My 488 is my first Ferrari so not sure how that stacks up to past cars.
