OK, I'm officially in love with the 458 Spider!

Hi All,

I finally test drive a beautiful red/tan 458. I was concerned that with a 3-level neck fusion that I wouldn't be able to get in or fit, with the top up.
Well, I got in and fit just fine. I had about an inch of headroom to spare. Plenty of room for my legs. Based on a very quick sitting session a few months ago, I thought that I'd need to get an F12 to scratch my itch. However, I'm a convertible guy at heart.

I've had some really nice cars over the years, including a 550 Maranello. I test drive a new Porsche Turbo S cab. Nice, but boring. The 458 was OMFG!! Unbelevable acceleration, unbelievable handling and that sound that everybody keeps going on about. Well it really is spectacular. Now comes the nitty gritty. The dealership, Lake Forest Sports Cars has a stunning blue/tan with 1800 miles. The battery was too low to try today, so I'm going back on Thursday.
I hope to pick it up this week. I'm going to try to have them throw in a powertrain warranty, since the original Ferrari warranty has expired.

Just test drive a 2015 charcoal gray with racing seats. Stunning.
The racing seats just became a must. Not only are they extremely comfortable and
incredibly good-looking, there's also another inch or so of headroom with them.

I wasn't expecting the gray to look so good.
