599 Production Numbers

I have 1,796, so I think it's safe to double that number.

 

They did 3300 550's between 96 and 01. Now between 07 (late 06) and end of 09, I doubt they've done 3600. Asian market could account for more, but I didn't think 12 production was a lot different than before, at least in model mix, perhaps less.

 

Thought I would bump this thread since the model is now closed and in the books. Anyone have any better numbers on total 599 production?

 

There were 3083 550s and 2064 575Ms produced from 1996-2005, ~10 years. That is ~515 per year. 2006-2011, 6 years or ~3100 as a WAG.

Have not seen actual production numbers yet, Hawkeye. Mine stop at the 612 (3025). Information comes directly from Ferrari through Maranello Concessionaires.

There should be more than only 3100 produced units. I expect over 4500

 

Your guess is a good as mine. Are the numbers Maranello-like, or TR-like? 9957 TRs of all models from 1984-1995, 12 years or 830 per year, which would make 4980. Likely somewhere in between.

How did you calculate 4500?

 

I remember a discussion where the economic downturn for model years 2009/2010 had an impact on the 599. Don't think the number is in the 4000's.

 

Hawkeye- Seems like there was a period in there where you could really make friends fast at a dealership by ordering a 599. No getting on a wait list, either.

 

600 per year for the six years would be a good estimate.

Great, then you have F430 production numbers, which I am missing except for UK versions. How many F430s were produced?

 

I have been told something over 20.' and yes I also would like to know it little more precise.
