Hi all Curious if anyone has been faced with the reverse button on the 599 as pictured in the attached? I've been told the only way to replace it is to buy the entire module (with the auto, hazard, and open button). I should mention, the car is in Dubai, so very hot and humid summers. Thanks! Send us an email and I can discuss your options--We can refinish the buttons for much less then buying new.
Who did the work on your buttons? I'm having the same problem. My reverse button is spoilt and sometimes I need to press my reverse button several times before the reverse gear engages. Does anyone know what I can do?
I'm in the same boat. Dave Lelonek, Sticky RX is doing what he can. As you can see from the image, it doesn't look good. The car was bought new in Florida and has resided there until October 2015 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, do you have decals for the OFF on the A/C control of the 599? Sent from my HUAWEI P7-L10 using Tapatalk
Folks, Rick sent us his button which is torn as you can see by the image I sent him that he posted above. We are working on options to resolve this for Rick. We created a 3D model of the button and I had one of my friends print a 3D sample part for me today. The color is not right as they just used the color material that was in the machine. We are going to test fit this for function tomorrow. The material did not take our coating all that well so we need to do some more tests. (I believe it's just the print resolution) We have some other ideas to nail this so if any other folks are in need, please contact us. Thank you. High resolution (multijet) printing will provide a surface that can instantly be painted. This is my experience with parts printed for one of my classic cars. Cheers, Bernhard P.S.: It needs to be taken care with what polymer printing is done. Some soften at 60°C (about 140°F) already, others are quite brittle.
Hi Rudy, I replied to your email. We are looking into producing these but need a few more customers in need to make it worth the investment in tooling.
Greetings, I got the car back from Ron Tonkin with the RP button. Quite frankly, I like the harder feel. It is in now for paint correction and front wrap, so I haven't used the reverse more than a few times, but it will get a workout with NWFCA events this summer. I'll keep you posted. Kudos for Dave to work with me on this project. He has been an absolute gem in working to solve this problem. Best regards, Rick
