Last one that was for sale in Canada (about two years ago) was $269,000. Haven't seen one since...

 

I have one, SN 150551 Jan 2007 Grigio Silverstone/Cuoio, HGTE fitted. Supposedly 14 in US, but who knows, really.

 

Brady- How about some photos? Assume you have the wheels, suspension, and exhaust since the HGTE performance kit is not compatible with early 2007 599s.

I don't think so
Even the used F430 on the market - they're pretty cheaper in Italy (with same mileage).

Maybe a cheaper price in Italy but North American buyers can't import the euro cars as they have different government standards for their market. It costs too much to certify a euro version for registration in North America. Sites like autotrader.com show the prices in the USA for F430 automobiles.
The manual shift 599 has not proven very popular in North America as very few were imported new. Also FNA customers that ordered the manual version 599 had 6 months added on to quoted delivery dates compared to the F1 version 599 build time.

 

I had a look at that site - a post code is required (mine is not valid 00196) is there a post code to point out the whole area (America)? What if I would like to search something in the whole continent?

You can use zip code or postal code as you would say it 14209 which is Buffalo New York. Then search 'all' instead of say just a 250 or 500 mile radius around Buffalo. The cars you find for sale will then show the distance of their location from Buffalo in miles and not kilometers.

 

Dawns on me, three pedal 599s do not need the HGTE performance kit, except for the shock ECU.

 

Guys I have one. Its a 2008 and absolutely a awesome to drive. I've heard there were 33 delivered to the US.

I have never driven a 599 with a manual gearbox, but I have lost count of the number of people that have told me that it "doesn't work" because the car has "too much power for a manual gearbox". it's a comment that makes no sense to me.

That comment makes no logical sense whatsoever.

 

Of course it makes no sense. The gearbox in the manual 599 is identical to that in the F1 599 ... the only difference is the clutch activation.

There's all kinds of "questionable" comments about bolt-action 599s on the interwebz ... mostly from those that have never researched, understood or even driven them.

 

Mark- Funny thing is, most likely none of them were 3 pedal 599 owners, who seem to love their 599s.
