    Hi,

I am searching a 599 GTO for weeks now, there are 3 Rosso Corsa for sale that are all beautiful but somehow very different givent their prices, km and equipement.

I would be happy to know your opinion, it would help me choosing the right car :

    Option A :
    Rosso Corsa, 8700 miles
    leather Black interior
    425.000 USD
    1 owner
    2 years Ferrari warranty
    Ferrari approved car
    New tires
    Clean and clear history
    Complete check prior hand over
Equipement : leather interior, 4 points belt, yellow rev, red calipers, parking parking sensors.
Documentation complete, including Ferrari Classische certification

    Option B :
    Rosso Corsa, 3720 miles
    alcantara Beige/black interior
    472.000 USD
    2 owners
    One year warranty (not Ferrari)
    New tires
    Car sold by a dealer
    Complete check prior hand over
    Clean and clear history
Equipement : Carbon sill, white rev, red calipers.
Documentation incomplete (ferrari Classische missing certificate).

    Option C :
    Rosso Corsa, 1800 miles
    alcantara Black interior
    432.000 USD
    2 owners
    No warranty
    Car sold by a dealer
    Unknown history
Equipement : Carbon sill, white rev, front carbon, roll bar, Bose hifi, 4 points belt, parking sensors, 458 seats Cuoio, black challenge wheels, interior Alcantara.
Documentation incomplete (ferrari Classische missing certificate).

Please let me know what is the best/nicest and safest combo regarding price, quality and to be safe (ie Ferrari Approved is definitely a plus).

    Thanks in advance !

I'd take A all day long, its the cheapest, has a great interior, it has been driven (good) and is ferrari approved.

++1. Definitedly option A for the above reasons also.
The asking price for option C would be low considering it has very low mileage (it would be listed for 500k for that mileage over here),i.e., it probably has a story and given its unknown history, I would stay away from this car. Also, the dual color racing seats just doesn't look right.

It depresses me that CS's, Scuds and GTO's almost universally have black interiors. I like tans. I'd take C (considering color combo only), but confess I don't really get why C isn't "ferrari approved"??? Not sure what that means.

    Hello Piper,

Clarification for you, Ferrari Approved = car checked and guaranteed by Ferrari, guarantee can be extended up to 11 years. In short, a Ferrari Approved car should be (theoretically) in better condition than one without.

Personally i hate seats of Option C !

Another thing, not sure this is important but :

    Option B and C = 06/2010
    Option A = 09/2011

Well, i am afraid Option C will never be approved ;-) Something stinks with this car in my opinion.

In Europe, most of people don't like seats of option A - saying original seats (ie Option B) belongs to the car, not those leather GTB seats. It seems you prefer the leather seats in NA !

    So should i go for A ?

Check the clutch wear on A, if it's been driven hard in maybe quite worn and may not be covered under the Ferrari warranty.

I freakin' love the Full-alcantara scuderia seats.

A is great , but it has the GTB seats like the US-Specs GTO.... IMO it deeply sucks. I still don't understand why those seats are allowed on the US Scuderias and F12's and not on the GTO's...

You should have bought A like 3 threads ago. Just buy it. If it sells to someone else you will be stuck with 2 other choices that aren't as good.

The interior of option C is by far the best and my favourite....however not a problem for me since I cannot afford it!

    Hello all,

    Clutch wear :

    Option A : 10%
    Option B : 7%
    Option C : unknown :-(

I was told that when they the car leave the factory, clutch wear is 3% to 5%.

    What do you think ?

BTW some of you realized prices of GTO are increasing ? It seems to me it is, not much but 5% to 10% in the past 12 months. You cannot find a proper GTO (with clean history) with less than 330.000€ in Europe - 450.000 USD !

Option A would be my pick despite the fact that it has the GTB seats but it does have the 4 point harness. A must have in my opinion.

So apart from the seats, option A ticks all the right boxes and has complete paperwork.

Go for it. You will love it.

Option A and buy the ''racing'' seats. GTB seats looks really out of place IMO.
