For 612 owners, I'm curious how you feel about the lower skirts, which are black; do you leave them as is or should they be painted to match the rest of the exterior or something else?

Would like feedback on Pros and Cons of painting them, and any pictures would certainly be helpful for comparisons.

Also, if you replaced them with a 3rd Party Body Kit, I would be interested as well.

    Thanks.

(I realize this may not be of much interest to those of you with Nero Daytona (Black) cars).

Don't forget to vote your choice in the poll.

No opinion either way, but if you paint them I'd also recommend a clearbra to prevent paint chips.

Yeah the black is nice because you can get away with quick and dirty chip repair.

Painting them with the same color of the body, makes the car look extremely tall.

In my opinion takes part of the elegance.

very much depends on the color of the car. I would say yes on a white one, no on darker colors like my rubino or blue one because the car becomes more massive.

OK, before I vote Adam, I have a question. In addition to the side rocker panels, are you thinking of painting the rear quarter panel skirts, the trim around the exhaust, and the two front panels under the air intakes?

Good question - yes, I would presume consistency.

However, if you've got some other ideas, by all means enlighten us.

Well only if you did do it I think you would have to be consistent all around.

It does look good on that white car, but overall I prefer the contrast. I vote no, leave them alone.

IMHO, the black bottom makes the car look thin and it loses some if it's "heft".

    Paint them then clear bra.

    JMHO...

I tend to agree it's the exception, not the norm when it looks better. But when it looks good, it looks really good.

Paint all round no matter what the colour. Would be one of the first mods I would do even if I get a nero one as planned. Would also paint the exhaust grills silver.

Black plastic parts on a car like this is unquestionable imo. Surprised they come like it it out of the factory. Forget the clear bra too. If you can afford a v12 ferrari you can afford a bit of paint work now and again, no matter what the state of the roads are like wherever yoy live in the world.
