That's a shame coming from a brand like a ferrari...

The dealer would likely send it out to a good upholsterer.

I had the same with my (now sold) 599 GTB. The leather covering the roof of the cabin began to sag. The sag increased until a gap along one side appeared, like your pic. I sent my car back to the dealer where they had a specialist cut the excess leather and refix. It was good as new.

Had the same issue. Very common on 599s.

Yes...they should simply glue it back.

    That depends.

You can't just glue it back if the leather has stretched to the extent that the piece won't fit anymore, i.e, has gotten too large.

I would not take it to a dealer. They will either try to fix it themselves and not do a good job, or send it out and just tack on a hefty fee to what you would pay an upholsterer yourself.

I am always conscious of keeping my car out of extreme heat in the summer. This is can be a problem in all car makes.

For a good interior shop that fix is simple - if you have to tell them how to do it you have the wrong shop - certainly don't need the ferrari dealer - they will sub it out anyway

going to get it done at a local shop..needed removal but if you put it back without trimming there is quiet a bit of wrinkling. so ot will need to be trimmed and glued back up. Ferrari needs a new glue supplier that holds up a little better!!

Happened to my 612 and apparently held in place by very few strips of very good double sided tape, reattached with glue for US$450.
