This is the first time I'm seeing a picture of this car - note the wheels. I think it's great, and I was wondering if anyone had any other pictures of it. I'd love to see more. Of course, if anyone knows the VIN, I'd love to know that too. ;)

That's what makes it cool. And the larger painted SF.

I agree, and I'm not usually a fan of multi-colored F-cars (although I think the red/white Alonso 599's are sharp looking), but IMO that is catchy, w/o being too tacky, and harkening back to the 250? Well, you can't go wrong with that!...T

If you find anymore pics, post them up. Looks like it's a pic from when it was on sale/sold? Due do the paperwork on the windscreen plus the close proximity of the other car and wall.

I was told by one of his team that bought a number plate from me on his behalf, that he owned the last GTO off the production line, so this might be it?

Very unique. The colour livery paying homage to the 250!

There are alot of special GTOs that are rarely seen.. I've only seen a few small pics of Mr. Bachmans yellow and blue machine..would love to see more... And... how about a pic of one of the manual GTOs?..

? Were these produced. Defeats the whole experience of the 599 GTO in my opinion as the F1 gearbox on the GTO which gives you the kick-in-the-butt plays a vital part in the thrill the car gives you.

100% agreed even if I havent't driven one yet.

Engine + Box + diff is a whole package working together.

A manual tranny will be break-up in the package.

As for the Livery pictured above, I honestly find it horrific.

Maybe that's why there aren't many pictures of it on the internet:). I'm a huge fan of different historic style livery as it really makes an already unique car truly a one off.

Americans don't give a flying ____ about Royal and noble ranks.

Because in USA you become a "Lord" not because of the Queen, but because of your hard work.

    And I think it's great.

    Anyway, not thread Jacking.

In Australia, any title besides one in a work environment is considered ridiculous. Even work emails are signed using a first name basis.

This is news to me - thank you for the correction. How does one upgrade from Sir to Lord (assuming it's an upgrade), and when did this change take effect?

Carbon- You are born with the title/inherit it. The Queen can knight just about anybody who then becomes Sir Jacky Stewart or something similar.

So if Bamford was born with the title of Lord, why have people been referring to him as Sir for decades?
