599 HGTE paint correction detail plus full GYEON coating service!

We worked on this beauty way back when it was brand new, and now 19k miles later, it was time to bring it back in and get it looking like brand new again. This service included removal and replacement of the paint protection film, paint correction, and paint/trim/wheel/glass protection courtesy of GYEON Quartz for long term durability (lasts several years!).

The GYEON product line has been serving us well, with many very happy customers after application. On the paint, it adds a tremendous amount of gloss, makes maintenance easier, and lasts several years (on a daily driver). We used their Mohs+ which is a 3-stage coating (2 layers of base coat, then topped by a 2nd coating formula).

Next up was multi-stage polishing to remove all of the scratches and swirls. This step alone makes a massive difference in the overall looks of the car as it allows the true color and brilliance to shine through.

As always, we use the finest Italian buffers from RUPES to perform our work!

Once polishing was finished, we removed the wheels so we can fully clean them and the calipers as well. Once prepped, we coated the wheels and the calipers with GYEON Rim for long term durability.

It doesn't take long for plastic trim on cars to start to fade, so we treat them with GYEON Trim. This restores it to a deep black finish, and since it is a coating (not a dressing), you can't simply wash it away! On a daily driver car, this will last for over a year.

It's also a great product for treating / coating wiper arms to bring them back to black.

We coat the windshield as well for maximum rain repellency, and treat the wiper blades while we are at it.

Before we apply our coating, we installed brand new paint protection film from XPEL. We polish first, then install film, then apply GYEON coating on top of everything.

We also added fabric protection while we were at it. This is a fantastic product, and can be used on convertible tops as well.

With a properly polished car, good film, and a good install, it doesn't make a huge amount of difference. As you can tell on this 599, there's a tremendous amount of shine / gloss coming from the hood area!
