    A fellow F-Chatter in Australia recently installed a Forza Componenti Exhaust Bypass Valve controller in his 599 GTB. Very impressive bit of work and work was entirely a DIY project. You would need a vehicle lift as gaining access to the vacuum solenoid valve is virtually impossible without getting the car up in the air. The overall installation is very clean and secure.

    The control module is installed in the trunk (boot) of the car. There is a requirement to cut a 1.25" (32mm) hole in the trunk, but the way it was done does not undermine the integrity of the vehicle and is very easy to do. Once done, the hole to route the control cable is completely invisible and sealed with a grommet and some silicone sealant.
