i know the lusso is a 2 seater, but as much as the 456 is derivative of the daytona, i see styling cues from the lusso in the 612.

    anybody else?

Funny you mention this, as often tell people to think of the 612 as the "modern day Lusso."

Correct - that was actually the official "target" car for the 612, when it was developed.

When I refer to the Lusso, I was thinking in terms of its classical, but not too aggressive look. A sort of Wolf in Sheep's Clothes" kind of car, even though the Lusso was 2-seater and the 612 a 2+2.

Totally agree -- a wolf in sheep's clothing ; nice to punch the throttle on the freeway and just the others cars disappear...

I love my 612. I was scaring the daylights out of people running the car around 6 to 8K RPM in low gear. The sounds is just simply awesome. I heard the Lusso doesn't handle nor drive that well when compared with a GTC. I dont think the 612 looks like it. It has its own unique and timeless styling. I am going to sell my 2007 and get a late model one on one when the prices fall a bit more.

Thomas- Redline on a 612 is 7500 rpm and fuel cut-off is 7600. The only way to get to 8000 is to have a three pedal and make a bad downshift. Bet that would feel like somebody tied her to a tree and the rope ran out.
