I have a deal in the works to pick up my 2nd Ferrari. THis would be a 2005 612 F1, full major service 5 months ago, needing nothing 16k miles. I can pick it up in the mid 80's plus tax.

I am looking for a real deal. WHat is this car worth?? Can't find much data

I got $84k back from the dealer on my car after consignment a couple months ago and it was similar, about 19,800 miles though. Mine had a year old major service and new tie rods. I really don't know what the dealer got for her. I assume they made 7-8% over that or maybe $91k?. So yes, you're in the great deal range. At least in my opinion. Speaking to value, the value you're getting mid $80k's in my opinion is off the charts. These cars are way under appreciated. You'll love her.

Mine moved very quickly once listed by a dealer as well. Under 100 K, these cars really are at a price point where they are likely to be snatched up rapidly.

Price points depend on what year, mileage, and version of the car:
    -1st Gen (late 04 - early 07) Base Car
-1st Gen HGTS / HGTC Models
-2nd Gen (Manatino, Bose system, etc)
    -2nd Gen OTO
    etc

Mid 80K for a 1st Gen base car is a good deal; but, I think the 100K mark for an optioned HGTS model might be a better one.

    YMMV.

Robert, I really did my homework when I was searching for my 612. The day I saw my 612 listed for sale I knew the price was better than right. When I spoke with the seller I tried for a better price and he immediately shot back that he wouldn't move an inch.

Based on my research I already knew the car was selling below fair market value. I had been buying cars for almost 40 years and this was the first time in my life that a paid the asking price. However, notwithstanding paying the asking price, it was among the best deals I ever got.

Buy it, it is a great car with great looks and still striking performance for a big GT.
