hello, actually i am driving a california and he has OEM coilovers mounted. does the 599 have also coilovers suspension mounted? whats the real life difference between the HGTE version and the standard?
ok i see: https://www.google.at/search?q=599+gtb+part+number+suspension&safe=off&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=955&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=zL_DVMOmEcz2UourgIgB&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&dpr=1#safe=off&tbm=isch&q=599+gtb+part+number+shock&imgdii=_ so next question is, is it worth buying a hgte? i mean what about daily driving - does it make the difference? what about fuel burning - is it true that the hgte burns much less fuel?
Same engine, same gearing, same fuel economy. The HGTE package includes appearance (wheels, grille, interior) handling (springs, rear anti-roll bar, same shocks as standard, Shock ECU), exhaust, and shifting upgrades (new TCU gives 85 ms vs 100 ms min shift times). It does not affect the engine except for a slightly lower back pressure exhaust system which may provide a miniscule power increase. Package lessens understeer, lowers ride height, and the ride will suffer slightly in exchange for improved cornering. Came with 1/2 wider front wheels and sport tires.
