    Just a heads up, in a short article of the new Automobile magazine, with a McLaren vs. Corvette photo on the cover, they have a short review of the 599 as a great buy in the Ferrari world now. Probably nothing new if you have one or follow them, but nice to see just a bit of positive coverage of an often overlooked V12.

    Thanks a lot for that. I would have missed it. I patiently waited until last summer and a further slight drop in prices, when I got the one I wanted.

    Wait till the 2/3 generation owners have to replace the shocks at 3500USD each...every 20/40K miles.

    whoa, wait a minute, I think I made a mistake...the magazine article is talking about the 550 Maranello. Sorry for the wrong info.
