Interesting take on a 612 by Office-K of Tokyo. Let me know what you think about this. (More pics and story in the link) Custom Ferrari 612 Scaglietti by Office-K - Motorward Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for sharing! - too low - wheels to big - colored wheels don't work in this particular application - smoked + clear tail lights clash with the Bentley Blue - horse on the filler flap is gaudy - brake rotors look puny inside those wheels - interior is uninspired. seriously?? slap some blue on the seating surfaces guys and call it good. couldn't even be bothered to throw a blue tach in the dash. - neutral on the carbon fiber trim. if it's just a wrap / veneer, why bother? - don't care for the fog lights or mesh grill - I do like the blueing of the exhaust tips - always liked that on my bikes.
Good comments from above. But, lets not forget that the 456M did have the fog lights: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Like the grill and lowered stance (but maybe not so low), that's about all. Anyone else here lowered their 612? Would like to see pics.
Adam, this is from the CNN article you posted in another forum. I think it applies in this case, particularly the last sentence. Now, that sort of thing isn't unique to Ferrari. Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Lamborghini, among others, also go to extremes to meet a buyers' every desire. Ferrari, however, imposes some limits. Ferrari's cherished brand image is, frankly, more important than your desire to paint your F12berlinetta in a checkerboard of your school colors. Ferrari's design department can -- and will -- gently guide a client away from any request deemed impossibly distasteful. That's because, for Ferrari, your choices matter. It's not just about your car. It's about the value of every Ferrari on the road. Your appalling personal taste could ruin things for everyone.
Yep - I'm pretty much in agreement with everyone else: The fog lights are ok, but everything else is a bit gaudy.
I don't really care for the mods. I think a little lowering and small spacers for a car like the 612 is probably all thats needed if you want to do something. But to each their own and if the owner is happy then I am happy for him or her.
