In looking through the existing threads, i could not find an answer to the following question: what is the difference in shifting, and shifting time, between a 2007 HGTC 612 and the OTO generation? I know the OTO is double plate, but does one feel the difference in driving the car? Thanks for your input!

In my opinion, the big difference is how smooth the OTO transmission is, in normal use, compared with the older generation transmission. That's where you notice it. And yes, I think it is very noticeable.

As far as shift times, a 2007 HGTC would have a shift time of 160 ms. An OTO with Superfast would be at 80 ms.

Thus the reason I dumped my 2007. It's sitting now at Porsche of Bellevue WA and the price just keeps dropping....incredible car F1 not so much....
