Tomorrow is the big day, I have a friend who will be bidding, and he usually gets what he wants! So it should be interesting!

Lol. I'm sitting on a beach with nothing better to do :) I felt the auction was slow, bidding seemed unspectacular.

GTB's final price was a really big effort for the auctioneer, bidding was glacial.

    Is that $358 + 10% buyers premium?

Of the few lots I watched, I had the same impression. The 330GT only made €220,000. Did that meet reserve (if there was one)?

Looks like the buyers premium is 12% making buyers cost at $401k.

I'm not neutral, I had Mrs Camlet1 a few inches from me checking out the bids to see if my "don't worry darling, the cars are good investment pitch" holds water. It wasn't comfortable viewing lol.

The F40 scraped by, the F50 scraped by too (I don't know why they show an F50 roof off it looks so much sweeter roof on, what do I know)......Mrs C1 gave me several rolled eyes. I said the bids were ex buyers premium, she said that sounds like an excuse. It was.

One auction perhaps isn't a trend but sentiment to me seemed flat as a pancake. Not bearish but not bullish. And if the market is entering a period of sustained calm, it's no bad thing. I'll try that line later today on the Boss :D

Who knows? As long as he got the car he wanted, price may no matter to him. (or her) :)
