There is a 599 for offer at a very good price, but has a horrible red interior - any idea if it possible/feasible to change it? I know it is a lot of work - my major concern would be the carpets, as they appear to the molded. Has anyone done this before? Thank you
The carpets could be a issue if there made from acrylic then it can't be redyed. It would be cheaper to buy all int from a wrecked 599.
The car I am looking to purchase has red interior and I want to know if it's possible to re-dye everything. Sent from my HUAWEI P7-L10 using Tapatalk
Why go to the trouble when you can just buy another colour combination and keep it original? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How about swapping interiors with someone? Put it out there; you never know. If I had a silver, dark grey or black car with a tan interior, I'd swap it for red in a heart beat. Just thinkin' outside the "cockpit"!
Something is wrong with it. Or you're in another country. Even a hideous 599 interior would fetch more.
Wow! Amazing price if it's true. Nothing wrong with a red/red Ferrari 599! **Here are some pics I have found over the years.** Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is what they are worth in the Middle East - (I am looking at one in Saudi Arabia). If I do take it back to Europe, it would end up costing me more. (29% Import duties 10% + 19% VAT). Asking price for a 599 in Europe is around 90/100 EUR and better condition.
Oh yes, cars in the Middle East are worth nothing compared to the rest of the world! I can now also understand the red/red colour combo. They have some crazy taste over there. Here is a website which I look at all the time and cry myself to sleep at how cheap those Ferrari and Lambo prices are. Q8Car - Kuwait - Cars
